The White House made a declaration that came as an amazement to numerous on Thursday when it uncovered that President Donald Trump will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin one week from now.
President Trump will meet with Putin at some point amid his forthcoming outing abroad to Poland and Germany for the G20 Summit in Hamburg.
The White House would not remark on what the two pioneers plan to talk about.
“It’s truly going to be whatever the president needs to discuss,” said Trump’s national security consultant H.R. McMaster.
“We don’t have a motivation set up for these gatherings at the present time,” included Gary Cohn, Trump’s financial counselor.
McMaster clarified that Trump’s objective at the G20 Summit will “be for the US and the West to concede to ‘a typical way to deal with Russia” and for them to “build up a more productive association with Russia, but on the other hand he’s clarified that we will do what is important to stand up to Russia’s destabilizing conduct.”
The White House likewise reported that amid the summit, Trump will meet with meet with Germany’s Angela Merkel; Britian’s Theresa May, Japan’s Shinzo Abe, South Korea’s Moon Jae-in, China’s Xi Jinping, Mexico’s Enrique Pena Nieto; Indonesia’s Joko Widodo, and Singapore’s Tony Tan.
